We start by looking at the site
Every residential complex is different: we come to the site, look at the car park layout and the state of the electrics. Our priority is to install in a publicly accessible area so that valuable parking spaces are not taken away from residents.
We ask for technical conditions with reserve
In practice we ask for technical conditions with a power reserve — at least 60 kW. That makes it possible to increase capacity as the number of electric cars grows, without rebuilding the incoming supply.
Which stations we install
The most in demand in residential complexes are stations with two 7 kW connectors. For alternating current at a site like this that is enough: the car stands overnight and there is no rush. The station mounts on a wall or a stand and suits European cars with Type 2 connectors.
How many stations are needed
We usually start with one or two stations: 15–30 kW in total, that is two to four parking spaces at 7 kW each. After that we look at the usage statistics and add stations where the layout allows.
If the location is an active one
When the complex has restaurants, offices and other commercial premises, we consider fast charging from 60 to 120 kW — cars do not stand there long, and a slow station would not have time to charge them.
